Canterbury will play Auckland Storm, and go in search for their sixth Premiership title in the past 10 years, while Wellington Pride will take on Northland Kauri as both go looking for their second title.
Auckland Storm has had three dominant eras in the competition, winning seven consecutive titles between 1999-2005, then three consecutively from 2007-2009, and another five titles between 2011-2015.
The Storm will go out with the sole desire of upsetting Canterbury’s perfect record this season, in doing so winning their 17th title.
