He has continued his form for the Crusaders and Māori All Blacks through to the provincial competition where he sits on five points, two points above the rest of the pack.

Tasman's Max Hicks, Lions winger Julian Savea, Taranaki's Daniel Waite and Auckland's Zarn Sullivan round out the top five on three points, however there are another 11 players who sit on three points.

16 players are on two points, with 14 more players with one point.

In the Farah Palmer Cup, Maia Joseph remains at the top of the Fiao'o Faamausili Medal table after five rounds. Unfortunately the talented Otago pivot suffered a knee injury last weekend and it's unknown how long she will be on the sidelines for. Bay of Plenty's Luka Connor is two points' behind on six alongside Hawke's Bay first five-eighth Krysten Cottrell. Otago's Georgia Cormick is on five points, with Counties' Hazel Tubic in fifth place with four points.

The Duane Monkley and Fiao'o Faamausili Medal is awarded to the player who polls the highest number of votes at the end of the season. Votes are awarded by Sky Sport commentators per fixture on a 3, 2, 1 system. Votes will be closed off to the public in the latter rounds of the competition, with the winner to be unveiled at the ASB Rugby Awards in December.
