The weekend’s action sees three semi-finals kick off on Saturday afternoon – Auckland and Waikato face each other for the third year in a row in the penultimate game; north and south go to battle as Northland take on Otago in Whangārei; and Championship leaders Wellington host Hawke’s Bay Tui.
Sunday afternoon’s match sees Premiership leaders Canterbury host the Manawatū Cyclones at Rugby Park. The Cyclones are playing off the back of their epic 38-41 extra-time victory over Auckland last week to confirm they will hold the JJ Stewart Trophy over the summer.
